Short Bio

I joined the University of Padova as a postdoc researcher in the analysis of PDE at the end of 2023. Under the PRIN project NEPDEF, I am researching the regularity of solutions to scalar conservation laws in 1D and MD settings. Specifically, we are interested to investigate and quantify the regularity enhancing properties of nonlinear fluxes in the challenging MD setting. Previously I completed my DPhil at the University of Oxford (2019–2023) where my main research interests were gas dynamics and the Euler equations. Specifically we investigated the existence of global solutions to shock reflection problems in 2D for the Euler equations. More broadly I have strong lifelong passions for physics and aviation.

In my spare time you can find me trying (with varying successes) to learn French and Italian, and, with luck, skiing to my heart’s content in the beautiful Dolomites.
