Maria Teresa Chiri research focuses on methods coming from partial differential equations, calculus of variations and control theory to study problems in applied sciences.
In particular on

  • control of invasive biological species
  • traffic flow with autonomous vehicles
  • confining fire and optimal blocking problems
  • bioinspired PDE models (bio-robotics)
  • control of conservation laws
  • numerical methods for hyperbolic systems of conservation laws
