Short Bio
Donatella Donatelli is full professor in Mathematical Analysis and has an expertise in compressible fluid dynamical modelling ranging from classical models to models applied in biology (tumor growth models), plasma physics (plasmas, semiconductor devices) and atmosphere modelling. Her research is focused on the investigation of the existence of global in time weak solutions, weak-strong uniqueness properties, scale limit analysis. She has been the Scientific Coordinator of the research unit of the University of L’Aquila of the European Project “ModCompShock-Modelling and Computation of Shocks and Interfaces”, under the Marie Curie Actions- MSCA-ITN-ETN, Horizon 2020, Grant Agreement N: 642768.
