Short Bio

From 2019: Associate professor at University of Brescia, Italy.
2001-2019: Researcher, University of Brescia, Italy.
2000-2001: Postdoc, University of Brescia, Italy;
1999-2000: Postdoc, University of Pisa, Italy;
1998: Phd at University of Pisa, Italy. Supervisor: Prof. Giuseppe Buttazzo. Thesis title: “Esistenza di soluzioni in problemi di ottimizzazione di forma e ostacoli”.

My main research interest is the well posedness of free boundary problems for the existence of piece-wise discontinuous weak solution to the equations of compressible/incompressible fluids, Magneto-hydrodynamics and plasma-vacuum interface problem. The methodology to study the well-posedness of such problems is based on a mixing of energy methods, Fourier analysis and fixed point arguments.
