The Department of Mathematics and Statistics announces one full-time (140 hours/month) Special Scientist position for the Internal Research programme «Hyperbolic Conservation Laws: Theory and Applications» funded by the University of Cyprus. The Principal Investigator of the programme is Professor Cleopatra Christoforou. The position is on a contract basis for up to 11 months with a possible extension of another 6 months. The monthly gross salary is equal to € 2262,84. From the monthly gross earnings, the University of Cyprus will deduct the relevant sum which corresponds to the contributions of the employee to the various Governmental Funds and, if applicable, income tax. The position does not include a 13th Salary bonus.
